I have been guest professor in may 2023 for an International architecture studio, run by the University Michigan, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning (dir. Ass. Pr. Anya Sirota). The studio was located in Paris under supervision of the architect and professor Clément Blanchet (Clément Blanchet Architecture, Paris). The studio aims to introduce a dozen of master students to the impact of Olympic Games on architecture and cities through the example of Paris 2024.
I was in charge of presenting a lecture on « Relationships of stadium and cities. An historical perspective », contributing to the personal projects of students and organizing a two days field trip to Grenoble to study the 1968 Winter Games heritage on local architecture, cities and territory. We visited the abandoned ski jump of St-Nizier-du-Moucherotte and the underused arena (Palais des Sports de Grenoble) where ice hockey, figure skating and final ceremony took place.
